Université Laval

Université Laval is one of Canada’s largest universities with $403.8 million in research funding. Inspired by excellence since 1663, Université Laval is a broad university with some 43 000 students – a quarter of them graduates – as well as 17 faculties, 60 departments and schools, and nearly 500 programs in every field of knowledge. Université Laval is also a leader in research and innovation, with over 1 620 research professors divided among 250 teams and centres.

CentrEau, the Quebec Water Management Research Centre, is a Quebec cluster of water experts. It brings together researchers and graduate students from 11 different institutions. It is financed by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies (FRQNT) as part of the Strategic Clusters program. CentrEau’s mission is to implement better water governance to ensure people’s water security in the face of global changes.
